Kotpad, 9th Sept 2025: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur today at the Kotpad Aided Primary School.
The event began with a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birth anniversary on September 5 is observed as Teachers’ Day across India. On this occasion, a floral offering and incense lighting ceremony were held in front of his portrait at the school, marking the formal commencement of the celebration.
Special focus was placed on the recitation of the famous Sanskrit verse:
> “Guru Brahma, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheshwara,
Guru Sakshat Param Brahma, Tasmai Shri Gurave Namah”
As part of the celebration, sweets were distributed among all the students present.
The program was attended by:

President of Bharat Media Association Ajay Kumar Mishra
Along with all students, staff, and faculty members.
It is worth noting that this school, established in 1938, is still functioning in a beautiful and vibrant academic environment, providing quality education to the students of the region.
