Kolnara, Jan, 24:The Maa Mutyaluma Super Six Cricket Tournament, held at the playground near the Gramadevi Maa Mutyaluma Temple in Kolnara, has concluded successfully.
Four teams participated in the tournament. The final match was played between Maa Mutyaluma Team and Master Blaster Team. Batting first, the Maa Mutyaluma Team scored 58 runs in 5 overs. In reply, the Master Blaster Team managed to score 46 runs, making the Maa Mutyaluma Team the champions.
At the closing ceremony, Senior Manager of the IR Department of JK Paper Mills, Santosh Kumar Dhal, attended as the Chief Guest. Deputy Manager Rakesh Kumar Padhi and Assistant Manager Jitendra Kumar Pattnaik joined as Guests of Honour.
Among others present were senior officials of JK Paper Mills A. Mahesh Kumar and Ashok Kumar Das, Assistant Officer Basant Das, senior citizens Jagannath Panda and Narayan Sahu, Babuni Dora, Trinath Toika, Raipili Shankar, Prashant Jena, and Ashok Chintada.
Temple Management and Development Committee President Epili Dhabaleswar Naidu felicitated the guests. On the occasion, the Chief Guest awarded the champion team with a cash prize of ₹4,000 and a trophy, while the runners-up team received ₹3,000 along with a trophy.
