Jeypore , Sept 5 [UDN}:A remarkable and heart-touching incident that took place at PM SHRI Government High School, Jeypore, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan deeply touched my heart.
From Chanapadar village, located on a hill about 7 km away from the school, Lalita Jani came to the school carrying a puja thali, sweets and rakhi, with immense affection for her brothers in her heart.
As her brothers, Class 10 student Bijay Jani and Class 8 student Pusta Jani, were at school, Lalita herself came to the school and tied rakhi on their wrists.
That moment was not merely an ordinary scene of tying a rakhi. It was a beautiful symbol of the selfless love, trust, sacrifice and everlasting bond between a brother and sister.
Despite the difficulty of climbing the hill and travelling the seven-kilometre distance, Lalita made the effort to reach the school just to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with her brothers. Her gesture beautifully reflected the depth of sibling love and the emotional significance of the festival.
