Bhubaneswar, July 2 (UDN): The scheduled visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Odisha has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, according to official sources.

The visit, which was planned from July 3 to July 5, has been called off as a precautionary measure in view of unfavourable weather and safety concerns. Bargarh MP Pradeep Purohit confirmed the cancellation, stating that the decision was taken due to unsuitable weather conditions affecting travel and official engagements.
During the proposed visit, the Union Minister was expected to attend several important party and government programmes. Officials have indicated that the visit is likely to be rescheduled, with fresh dates to be announced later.
The cancellation has drawn attention in political circles, with expectations that the programmes will be reorganised once weather conditions improve.
