Bhubaneswar, Mar, 25: The admission notification for the two-year B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.H.Ed (Hindi B.Ed) courses for the academic session 2026–27 has been released. Online applications will be accepted from tomorrow (Monday) through the SAMS website. The application process will continue until April 6. The notification has been issued by the Higher Education Department.
Admissions will be conducted for 2,750 seats across 31 institutions in the state offering B.Ed, M.Ed, and Hindi B.Ed courses. The entrance examination will be conducted by the State Selection Board (SSB). Admissions will be based on the merit list prepared from the entrance examination results.
After submitting the application, candidates will get an opportunity to edit their application on April 7 between 11:00 AM and 11:45 PM.
All applicant data will be handed over to the SSB on April 13 for conducting the entrance examination. Admit cards will be available on the SSB website from 2:00 PM on May 27 onwards.
The B.Ed entrance examination will be held on May 31.
The M.Ed and B.H.Ed entrance examinations will be conducted on June 3.
Provisional answer keys will be released between June 5 and June 7, during which candidates can submit objections. On June 9, the SSB will hand over the provisional answer keys to OCAC for further processing.
