Bhubaneswar, April 13: The Council of Higher Secondary Education has released the academic calendar for higher secondary (+2) education in Odisha.
As per the calendar, classes for Class XII students will begin from the third week of April, while Class XI classes will start as per the state government’s instructions.
Exam Schedule (2027)
Practical Exams: First and second weeks of January 2027
Internal Assessment: December 20–31, 2026 and January 10–15, 2027
Submission of Practical Marks: By second week of February 2027
Theory Exams: From second week of February to fourth week of March 2027
Result Publication: Third week of May 2027
Form Fill-up & Admit Card
Ex-regular students: Third week of October (online)
Regular students: Fourth week of October (online)
All form data submission deadline: December 1
Admit cards available: By December 15
Final exam schedule: By end of December
Instant Exam
Instant examination will be conducted in February, with results likely by the third week of July.

Chairman’s Cup Debate (Odia, English, Hindi): First week of September
Cultural & Literary Competitions: Fourth week of September
Indoor Games: Second & third weeks of October
Annual Sports: First week of November
Outdoor Games: November–December
All sports events completion: By mid-December
Other Activities
Teacher training programs: October to February
Academic and examination workshops: November–December
The council has clarified that the dates may change if necessary.
