June 29: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has extended the last date for submission of applications for Plus II answer script rechecking till July 4, giving students more time to apply for review of their results.
Earlier, the deadline was June 30, but the council decided to extend it by four days after receiving several requests from students and stakeholders seeking additional time to complete the online application process.
With this extension, students who are not satisfied with their marks or wish to ensure accuracy in evaluation can now apply through the official online portal within the revised timeline. The rechecking process allows candidates to get their answer scripts verified for common issues such as totaling errors, unmarked answers, or other discrepancies that may have occurred during evaluation.
Officials said the step has been taken in the interest of students to ensure fairness, transparency, and accessibility in the examination system. It is also aimed at reducing stress among students by providing adequate opportunity to verify their results.
The council reiterated that the process will continue to be conducted in a streamlined manner, ensuring that all valid applications are reviewed within the stipulated framework.
