Bhubaneswar, Aug. 16 (UDN): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi honoured police officers and personnel for their outstanding contributions to maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety and delivering uninterrupted services to the people.

The Chief Minister presented medals to the awardees at the State-Level Medal Presentation Ceremony – 2026, held at the Convention Centre in Lok Seva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
Addressing the gathering, Majhi commended the dedication and commitment of the police personnel who have continued to serve the public with courage and professionalism.
He particularly appreciated their unwavering commitment, sacrifice and pursuit of excellence in the discharge of their duties, noting that their efforts play a vital role in maintaining peace and security across the state.
The Chief Minister said the dedication of police personnel strengthens public confidence in the law enforcement system and contributes significantly to creating a safe and secure environment for citizens.
The medal presentation ceremony recognised the exemplary service and achievements of police officers and personnel who have made significant contributions to public safety and the effective maintenance of law and order in Odisha.
