Bhubaneswar, Aug 10 [UDN}:After visiting the flood-affected areas, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Smt. Pravati Parida held a review meeting in the conference hall of the district office regarding the post-flood situation and relief measures.
During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted on various important issues, including relief distribution, rehabilitation of affected people, health-related challenges, purification and supply of drinking water, distribution of cattle feed, and other necessary post-flood arrangements.
The Deputy Chief Minister directed officials to give top priority to restoring normalcy in the affected areas, ensuring the safety and security of people’s lives and livelihoods, and expediting all assistance and relief activities.
She emphasized that all departments must work in close coordination to provide timely support to flood-affected families and ensure that essential services reach the people without delay.
The meeting was attended by the Hon’ble MLA of Bhadrak and Chairman of the District Planning Board, the District Collector of Bhadrak, Additional District Collector, Chief Development Officer, Sub-Collector, heads of various technical departments, and other district-level officials.
