Koraput , June 22 {UDN}: A DISHA (District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee) meeting was held today at the Sadbhavana Conference Hall, Koraput, under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Koraput.
The meeting was attended by the Hon’ble Member of Parliament from Nabarangpur, the President of the Zilla Parishad, Koraput, the Hon’ble MLAs of Koraput, Jeypore, Laxmipur, Kotpad, and Pottangi, the District Collector, the Chief Development Officer (CDO), Koraput, along with other district-level departmental officers.
During the meeting, various ongoing development projects and welfare schemes being implemented in the district were reviewed in detail. Discussions focused on improving the effectiveness of government programmes, ensuring timely completion of infrastructure projects, and addressing issues related to public service delivery.
The elected representatives and officials exchanged views on strengthening coordination among departments to accelerate development activities and enhance the benefits reaching the people. The meeting also emphasized transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of centrally and state-sponsored schemes for the overall progress of the district.
