Loisingha, Sept 25 [UDN}:Odisha: Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling inaugurated a new dialysis unit at the Loisingha Community Health Centre (CHC), marking an important step towards strengthening access to specialised healthcare services in the local area.
The newly inaugurated facility has started operations with two dialysis machines, enabling kidney patients from Loisingha and surrounding areas to receive regular dialysis services closer to their homes.
The availability of the dialysis unit at the community health centre is expected to reduce the need for patients to travel to distant hospitals and healthcare facilities for essential treatment. This is particularly significant for patients who require repeated and long-term dialysis care.
The initiative is aimed at making quality and affordable healthcare services more accessible to people at the grassroots level. By bringing dialysis services closer to the community, the facility is expected to provide greater convenience to patients and their families while strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of the region.
