Malkangiri,Mar, 26: Under the guidance of the State Education Department, the “Entrance Ceremony” and welcoming program for new students began in Malkangiri district with great enthusiasm. The event was organized at Mundaguda Government Upgraded High School in the presence of senior officials of the district administration.
On this occasion, Malkangiri District Collector and District Magistrate Prathamesh Arvind Rajshirke, Police Superintendent Vinod Patil, Chief Development Officer Dasharath Sarabu, and Additional District Collector Durjadhan Bhoy welcomed students of prominent schools who had come for enrollment in the new academic year with flowers and chocolates. The officials’ warmth created a positive atmosphere and a sense of belonging among the students toward their schools.
Invitation cards for the “Entrance Ceremony” were distributed to parents to raise awareness about statewide programs like Shishu Vatika (Pre-primary) and First Grade Enrollment as well as the “Nipun Odisha” initiative. The District Collector personally held direct discussions with parents and students, wished them a bright future, and highlighted the importance of education.
The program was conducted under the direct supervision of District Education Officer Chittaranjan Panigrahi, who stated that on April 2, all schools in the district will hold a grand celebration of the Entrance Ceremony and enrollment day. New students will be traditionally welcomed with sandal paste and flowers. School management committees, self-help groups, and local tribal communities will participate. Teachers will read and convey the message from the Hon’ble Chief Minister to everyone.
Through this program, the district administration aims to ensure 100% enrollment in Malkangiri and create a new momentum in the field of education.
