Brajarajnagar April 03: The District Collector of Jharsuguda visited the municipal area of Brajarajnagar and reviewed various developmental projects. During the visit, special focus was given to improving urban transportation and promoting education, with inspections of two important proposed sites.
The Collector first visited the Khaliakani area and examined the land identified for the construction of a new bus stand. Considering the growing population and increasing traffic issues in the town, the need for this bus stand was emphasized. The Collector stressed the importance of initiating the construction work at the earliest.
Later, the Collector visited the area near Brajarajnagar Women’s College to inspect the proposed site for a new library. The library is planned with the objective of creating an improved educational environment for students. The Collector directed officials to prepare the blueprint immediately so that local students can benefit from the facility as soon as possible.
During the visit, officials of the Brajarajnagar Municipality presented all relevant details regarding the projects, and other concerned officers were also present.
