During Their Visit to Tentulikhunti, SG Representatives Assessed Ground-Level Issues and Discussed Measures for Improving Public Services and Infrastructure.

Tentulikhunti :July 8 {UDN}:  In the aspirational block of Tentulikhunti in Nabarangpur district, the Nutri-Hope Project has been implemented in Dighi and Tentulikhunti panchayats with the support of SG India Private Limited and under the initiative of ITPIA Foundation.
The main objective of this project is to create awareness about maternal and child health, nutrition, adolescent girls’ health, and to connect beneficiaries with various government welfare schemes.
Under this programme, nutrition kits were distributed to pregnant women, lactating mothers, adolescent girls, neglected and vulnerable individuals including TB patients, widows, and persons suffering from anaemia. Sanitary pads were also distributed to adolescent girls.
In addition, several activities such as nutrition gardens in Anganwadi centres were organized earlier as part of the programme.
A field visit was conducted in Kenduguda and Khadia Guda villages under Tentulikhunti panchayat.
Meetings were held with adolescent girls, village committees, and gram welfare committees. During the interaction, Anup Kumar Das discussed with the community and gained insights into their environment, livelihood, food habits, health conditions, education, and culture.
He shared his experience during the visit, calling it highly inspiring. He also stated his commitment to continue working with the ITPIA Foundation in the future for the development of Odisha and its remote regions.
