Focus on Stronger Policing as Chief Minister Lays Down 10 Key Directives at State-Level Conference

Bhubaneswar,  Sept 5 [UDN}:  At the state-level DGP-IGP conference held at the State Police Headquarters, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi issued 10 major directives to the Police Department.

On the occasion, he emphasized law and order, internal security, cybercrime, and future-oriented “smart policing.”

The Chief Minister called for a “zero-tolerance” policy against violence against women and organized crime. He also urged the police to increase the conviction rate from the current 40% to at least 75%.
