Berhampur, Sept 17 [UDN}:: A felicitation programme was organised at the Special Circuit House near Berhampur Railway Station to honour Surya Narayan Patro, the then MLA from Digapahandi and Speaker of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
The programme was organised by the Former Councillors and Corporators Association of Berhampur Municipality. Members of the association extended their warm greetings and felicitated Patro in recognition of his public service and his responsibilities as a senior political leader and Speaker of the Odisha Assembly.
Former municipal representatives from Berhampur participated in the programme and conveyed their best wishes to Patro. The gathering also provided an opportunity for the former councillors and corporators to interact with the senior leader and discuss matters concerning the development and civic interests of Berhampur.
The organisers expressed their happiness and extended heartfelt congratulations to Surya Narayan Patro, wishing him continued success in his political and public life.
