Government Focuses on Stronger VAHAN Database to Boost Vehicle Monitoring and Road Safety

Delhi, Sept 5 [UDN}:  The Central Government has taken steps to reform the VAHAN database and strengthen road safety. Under the Vehicle Classification rules, vehicles have been divided into four categories:

– Active Compliant
– Active Non-Compliant
– Temporary Archive
– Permanent Archive

Always keep your vehicle documents updated and ensure that your vehicle remains in the Active Compliant category.
