Bhubaneswa,June 22 {UDN}: A thunderstorm and rainfall alert has been issued for the entire state of Odisha for the next three days. According to weather forecasts, Kalbaisakhi (pre-monsoon thunderstorms) accompanied by rain, lightning, and gusty winds are likely to occur in several parts of the state until June 24.
The Meteorological Department has advised residents to remain cautious during thunderstorm activity and avoid taking shelter under trees or open structures. Farmers, fishermen, and people working outdoors have also been urged to stay updated with local weather advisories.
Several districts may experience moderate to heavy rainfall, bringing temporary relief from the prevailing heat and humid conditions. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and have asked district administrations to remain prepared for any weather-related emergencies.
