Bhubaneswar, Sept 26 [UDN}:The Satyabhama Devi Welfare Trust organised a programme at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar to observe International Sign Language Day and International Day of Deaf.
Addressing the gathering, Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari said that ensuring government schemes, welfare programmes and public services reach every section of society, including persons with disabilities, remains one of the government’s key priorities.
He emphasised the need for inclusive development and greater accessibility so that persons with disabilities can effectively avail themselves of government benefits and services.
