Koraput , Oct 29 [UDN}: The Koraput District Administration has undertaken extensive measures to ensure public safety and provide essential assistance to residents in view of the impending Cyclone Arnab.
As part of these preparedness measures, a special team under the supervision of the Koraput Sub-Collector conducted field visits to various villages under the Kotia Gram Panchayat to assess the prevailing situation and review the ground-level preparedness. Through such proactive initiatives, the administration is prioritising the delivery of essential services and emergency assistance directly to the doorsteps of people, including those living in remote and inaccessible areas.
The district administration remains firmly committed to achieving the goal of “Zero Casualty” during the cyclone. Through coordinated efforts, continuous monitoring and effective management of disaster response operations, public safety measures and emergency services, the administration is giving the highest priority to protecting lives and ensuring that necessary assistance reaches people in a timely manner.
