Koraput , March, 16: Under the chairmanship of the District Collector of Koraput district, a review meeting was held today through virtual mode regarding the distribution of Ayushman Cards and the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme.
During the meeting, officials reviewed the progress of Ayushman Card generation and distribution to eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Emphasis was laid on ensuring that all entitled families receive their cards without delay so they can avail cashless treatment benefits at empanelled hospitals.
The status of the HPV vaccination drive was also assessed, with a focus on coverage among adolescent girls and awareness campaigns at the grassroots level. The Collector directed health and field officials to intensify outreach efforts, coordinate closely with schools and Anganwadi centres, and ensure timely reporting of vaccination data.
Concerned departments were instructed to address bottlenecks promptly and work in mission mode to achieve 100 percent coverage in both the Ayushman Card distribution and the HPV immunization
