Koraput:, Sept 25 [UDN}:As part of the month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026’, Odisha Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Fisheries & Animal Resources Development and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Gokulananda Mallik, reviewed the progress of various departmental schemes during a meeting held at the Special Circuit House in Koraput.
The Minister held detailed discussions with the Koraput District Collector and senior departmental officials regarding the implementation and progress of different government programmes being carried out in the district.
During the review meeting, Minister Mallik emphasised the need for the smooth and effective implementation of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan at the grassroots level. He directed officials to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries without unnecessary delays.
The Minister also stressed the importance of achieving complete inclusion of eligible beneficiaries, particularly those who may still be outside the coverage of various welfare and development programmes. Officials were asked to closely monitor implementation, identify gaps and take necessary steps to ensure that intended benefits reach the people.
The review meeting focused on strengthening the delivery of departmental schemes and ensuring effective coordination between district-level administration and concerned departments. The Minister called for continued efforts to make the campaign more people-oriented and results-driven across Koraput district.
The meeting was attended by the District Collector and concerned departmental officials, who briefed the Minister on the current status and progress of various schemes and programmes.
The Seva Sankalp Abhiyan-2026 is being undertaken as a month-long initiative with an emphasis on strengthening public service delivery, improving implementation of government programmes and ensuring that eligible citizens are fully covered under various welfare and development schemes.
The review was held in the presence of officials from the Fisheries & Animal Resources Development Department and the MSME Department, Government of Odisha.
