Koraput, Aug 29 [UDN}: On the occasion of the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji, the Samaras Sankalp Abhiyan and the Sacred Kalash Vandana Shobhayatra were organised in Koraput.
The grand procession was taken out amid the participation of thousands of devotees, with women and other devotees carrying sacred kalashes. The entire procession was marked by great enthusiasm and spiritual fervour, as devotees raised devotional slogans and sang praises of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji.
The atmosphere across Koraput town turned vibrant and devotional as the procession moved through the city, with the chants and celebrations of the devotees echoing throughout the streets. The event conveyed a strong message of social harmony, unity, equality and collective devotion, bringing people together to commemorate the revered saint and his enduring teachings.
