Puri: July 23 UDN}:The three majestic chariots have taken the southern turn as part of the sacred Rath Yatra tradition. Lakhs of devotees have gathered in Puri to have a divine glimpse of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra and seek their blessings. The entire city has witnessed a massive gathering of devotees from across Odisha and different parts of the country.
In view of the huge congregation, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements to ensure the safety and convenience of devotees. Adequate police forces have been deployed at strategic locations, while extensive measures have been put in place for traffic management, crowd control, and maintaining law and order. The administration is closely monitoring the situation to ensure that the festival is conducted smoothly and peacefully.
