Kotpad, June 25 {UDN}: During a private visit, Justice Shiva Shankar Mishra of the Orissa High Court was warmly felicitated by office-bearers and members of the Kotpad Bar Association at the local Dak Bungalow.
Justice Mishra was on his way to Hyderabad and made a brief stop at the Kotpad Dak Bungalow. During his stay, members of the Bar Association, along with Kotpad Magistrate Trijib Kumar Nanda, met him and extended a cordial welcome.
While interacting with the lawyers, Justice Mishra emphasized the important role of advocates in ensuring justice for the common people. He advised lawyers to continue making meaningful contributions to the justice delivery system and society at large.
He particularly encouraged young lawyers entering the legal profession to devote more time to study, strengthen their legal knowledge, and work diligently to build a strong professional foundation.
Justice Mishra expressed his happiness and appreciation for the warm reception accorded to him by the members of the Bar Association.
Among those present during the felicitation were Bar Association President Mani Prasad Pattnaik, Vice-President Mukteswar Nayak, former President Pankaj Kumar Patra, Jitendra Nath Mahapatra, Secretary Ajit Pattnaik, along with Pradeep Bakshi, Khagapati Patra, Gupta Prasad Behera, Bidyut Lata Bakshi, Sangram Jena, Shankar Prasad Panda, Lingaraj Nayak, Chinmaya Sadangi, Srimanta Panda, Kishore Chandra Mishra, and other members of the association.
