Mass Awareness Drive Under Nava Bharat Literacy Programme Conducted Across K. Nuagaon Block to Promote Adult Education and Skill Development

K. Nuagaon, March, 18:   Under the supervision of Alok Pradhan, In-charge Block Education Officer of K. Nuagaon block in Kandhamal district, and Chaitanya Kahar, Coordinator of the Block Resource Centre, the Nava Bharat Literacy Assessment Programme (ULLAS) was conducted by Group Education Officer and Nodal Officer Harihar Malik.

The assessment programme was held across all 11 clusters of the block at 30 evaluation centres. A total of 1,205 candidates appeared for the examination, including 322 men and 883 women.
For the smooth conduct of the programme, three निरीक्षण (inspection) teams were formed comprising cluster-level resource centre coordinators from all 11 clusters, New India Literacy Block Coordinator Jak Sushant Kumar Sahu, Resource Person and former Block Coordinator Sujit Kumar Das. The teams visited the examination centres and carried out on-the-spot monitoring.

The Block Education Department expressed gratitude to all centre superintendents, headmasters, assistant centre superintendents, assistant teachers, and education volunteers for successfully completing the examination process in an orderly manner.
