Sambalpur , Sept 16 [UDN}:Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati is on a visit to Sambalpur, where he offered prayers and sought the blessings of Maa Samaleswari at the historic Samaleswari Temple.
During his Sambalpur visit, the Governor paid obeisance to Maa Samaleswari and took part in the religious proceedings at the revered shrine. His visit to the temple holds significance as the Samaleswari Temple is one of the most prominent spiritual and cultural landmarks of western Odisha.
The Governor is also scheduled to attend the Convocation Ceremony of Sambalpur University during his visit. As the Chancellor of the State’s universities, Governor Kambhampati is expected to participate in the convocation proceedings and address the gathering of students, faculty members and distinguished guests.
The Governor’s Sambalpur tour combines both religious and academic engagements, with his visit to Maa Samaleswari Temple and participation in the university’s convocation programme forming the key highlights of his itinerary.
