Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 [UDN}:The Health and Family Welfare Department of the Odisha Government organised a training and demonstration programme on the online RCM Claims Portal, also known as e-MediBlem, at Kharavela Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
The programme aimed to familiarise officers and employees with the digital system for submitting, verifying and processing medical reimbursement claims. Through this online platform, the process of filing claims for medical expenses, scrutinising applications and taking decisions on reimbursement can be made simpler, faster and more transparent.
The training session focused on the effective use of the portal and the digital procedures involved in processing medical reimbursement claims. The initiative is expected to streamline administrative work, reduce procedural complications and improve transparency in the settlement of medical claims.
Around 130 officers and employees participated in the training and demonstration programme. Their participation is expected to strengthen the implementation of the online system and facilitate the smooth handling of medical reimbursement claims under the department.
The initiative marks another step towards the digitalisation of administrative processes in Odisha’s healthcare sector, with an emphasis on efficiency, accountability and transparent service delivery.
