Bhubaneswar, July 17(UDN): The festive spirit of Rath Yatra continues to fill the air across Odisha as thousands of devotees participate in chariot processions and religious celebrations beyond the famous festivities in Puri.

Devotees in several towns, including Kendrapara and Baripada, gathered to pull the decorated chariots of Lord Jagannath and the sibling deities, keeping alive the centuries-old tradition with devotion and enthusiasm.
Although Puri remains the heart of the Rath Yatra celebrations, communities across Odisha have embraced the festival with their own processions, cultural programmes and spiritual gatherings. The celebrations have brought together people from different backgrounds, reflecting the state’s deep-rooted traditions and cultural identity.
Local authorities have made arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of events, including crowd management and public safety measures, as large numbers of devotees continue to take part in the festivities.
The ongoing Rath Yatra celebrations highlight Odisha’s rich cultural heritage and the enduring devotion of people towards one of India’s most significant religious festivals.
