Dubai: Sept 21 [UDN}:A ‘One District, One Product’ (ODOP) gallery showcasing Odisha’s rich traditional arts, handloom and handicraft products has been inaugurated in Dubai with the objective of taking the state’s unique cultural products to the global market.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the gallery as part of efforts to provide wider international exposure to the state’s traditional artisans, weavers and craftsmen.
The gallery features distinctive arts, handlooms and handicrafts representing different districts of Odisha. The initiative is aimed at creating greater visibility for Odisha’s indigenous products and connecting local artisans and producers with international consumers and markets.
The exhibition provides a platform to showcase the state’s diverse cultural heritage, traditional craftsmanship and locally distinctive products before a global audience in Dubai.
The initiative is expected to strengthen the branding and market reach of Odisha’s traditional products while creating opportunities for artisans and handloom and handicraft producers to access international markets.
