Officials and Organizers Convene in Preparatory Meeting to Ensure Smooth Conduct of Utkal Divas Events Across the State

NabarangpurMar, 21:    A preparatory meeting for the celebration of Utkal Divas was held at the conference hall of Tripti Lodge under the chairmanship of Bijay Choudhury, President of the Utkal Parishad.
As in previous years, it was decided to celebrate Utkal Divas this year as well with great grandeur. According to the decision taken at the meeting, floral tributes will be offered to the statues of great personalities located at the sub-divisional headquarters on the occasion of Utkal Divas.
It was also resolved that on the day, all members and invited guests will wear traditional attire and sing “Bande Utkal Janani.” Furthermore, by unanimous decision, a poetry recitation program based on the role of Utkal (Odisha) in independent India will be organized.
It was decided to invite local MLA Gourishankar Majhi, along with other distinguished personalities of the district, as guests for the Utkal Divas celebration.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the program, a committee was formed.
Among those present at the meeting were Utkal Parishad advisor and noted social worker Jagannath Mohapatra, Vice Presidents Jagadish Tripathy and Prabhasini Mahanti, Secretary Tapan Bishoyi, Organizational Secretary Atkal Bhatta, Joint Secretaries Manoj Kumar Patnaik and Gopal Panigrahi, along with other office bearers.
