Kotpad, March, 17:: After 35 years of government service, Panchayat Executive Officer Shri Sarat Kumar Dash retired on February 28 from Batasana Panchayat under Kotpad Block.
During his long career, he served 13 years as a Panchayat Secretary and the following 22 years as a Panchayat Executive Officer. Owing to his gentle and approachable behavior with the general public, he earned a special place in the hearts of the people. He was widely known as a calm and humble officer.
On the occasion of his retirement, a farewell felicitation meeting was organized by the Panchayat on March 6. The meeting was attended by Sarpanch Smt. Parbati Amanatya, Samiti Member
Padma Nayak, Naveen Bishoi, Lalit Singh, all ward members of the Panchayat, Panchayat staff, and other dignitaries.
The speakers present recalled Shri Dash’s honesty, dedication to duty, and his contributions to public service, and wished him a happy and healthy life ahead.
