Political Parties Participate in Coordination Meeting at Jharsuguda Sub-Collector’s Office, Discussing Key Administrative Arrangements

Jharsuguda June 26 {UDN}: A significant coordination meeting was held at the office chamber of the Jharsuguda Sub-Collector under the chairmanship of Sabyasachi Panda, Sub-Collector of Jharsuguda and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of the 07–Jharsuguda Assembly Constituency.

The meeting was organized to review the progress of the Special Intensive Revision–2026 currently being carried out as per the directions of the Election Commission of India. Detailed discussions were held with representatives of recognized political parties regarding the ongoing electoral roll revision process in the constituency.

According to official information, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are actively conducting door-to-door visits across all 257 polling booths in the constituency for the distribution and collection of election-related forms. During this process, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) of various political parties are also extending support at the booth level.

The meeting was attended by district presidents, secretaries, and authorized representatives of several recognized political parties, who shared their views and suggestions regarding the revision process.

The district administration appealed for the active cooperation of all political parties to ensure that the electoral roll revision exercise is carried out in a transparent, accurate, and error-free manner. The meeting emphasized the importance of collective participation in strengthening the electoral process and maintaining the integrity of voter records.
