Jeypore,Sept 29 [UDN}: Jeypore in Koraput district, popularly known as the “City of Victory” and renowned for its rich historical legacy dating back to the era of the Maharajas, is gearing up for its traditional and colourful Dussehra celebrations. In view of the upcoming festival, a preparatory meeting was held to discuss various arrangements and ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the celebrations.
Several important issues related to Dussehra preparations were discussed during the meeting, including security arrangements, crowd management, traffic regulation and other measures required for the successful organisation of the festivities.
Jeypore SDPO Archita Mittal provided information regarding the preparations and the key decisions discussed at the meeting. The authorities are expected to coordinate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure that the traditional Dussehra celebrations are conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner.
