Bhubaneswar, Oct 5 [UDN}:President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to undertake a two-day visit to Odisha on October 27 and 28. During her visit, she will travel to Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj district on October 27 and is scheduled to return on October 28.
A major mega eye-care camp is also being organised in Rairangpur from October 26 to 30, coinciding with the President’s visit. The five-day medical camp will provide eye examinations, consultations and necessary treatment services to patients.
According to the report, more than 100 eye-care specialists from Delhi are expected to attend the camp and provide advanced medical assistance. Special attention will be given to people from remote and underserved areas, who will have access to specialist eye-care facilities closer to their homes.
President Murmu is expected to join the eye-care camp during her Rairangpur visit. Preparations for her Odisha tour and the mega medical camp are reportedly being finalised by the authorities.
