Puri, June 30 {UDN}: A high-level coordination meeting was held today at the Puri Town Hall to ensure the smooth, safe, and well-organized conduct of the world-famous Rath Yatra 2026.
The meeting was attended by Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Panchayati Raj Minister Rabi Narayan Naik, along with MLAs, senior officials of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, district administration, and representatives of the servitor community. The participants held detailed discussions on crowd management, security arrangements, health services, traffic regulation, sanitation, and other key aspects to ensure the successful celebration of the grand festival.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to making the annual chariot festival a safe, seamless, and memorable experience for millions of devotees expected to visit Puri, with all departments working in close coordination for the successful conduct of the sacred event.
