Puri. June 27 {UDN}: Toll fees will be waived for all vehicles on the occasions of Rath Yatra, Gundicha Yatra, and Suna Besha.
No toll tax will be collected at the Pipili Toll Gate during these major festival days.
The Transport Commissioner has taken a major decision to ensure smooth and hassle-free travel for devotees.
Free transportation services will be provided from various parking locations in Puri to the Grand Road (Bada Danda).
Around 400 electric vehicles (EVs) will be deployed to transport devotees.
These vehicles will ferry pilgrims to and from the parking areas and Bada Danda.
Free food arrangements have been made for passengers at bus stands.
Electric vehicle services will also be available between the bus stands and the Shree Jagannath Temple.
Arrangements have been made for the operation of 1,000 buses from within Odisha and neighboring states to facilitate the movement of devotees.
The special measures aim to provide a comfortable, safe, and seamless pilgrimage experience for lakhs of devotees expected to visit Puri during the world-famous Rath Yatra festival.
