Jeypore, May 17:: On the occasion of the 251-Kundi Maha Yajna, Saptasutri programmes of the Gayatri Parivar district unit were conducted in villages including Bada Mundapadar, Sana Mundapadar, Amaguda, Hadiya, Putra, Sindhigam, Randapalli, Ekta Guda, Dubuli, Bajrang Nagar, Godapadar, Kalaguda, Nuaguda, and Keraput during the inauguration of the Ashta Prahari rituals.
District Saptasutri programme coordinators of Gayatri Parivar, including Niranjan Panigrahi, Gopal Patra, Kishore Bhai, and Santosh Jena, attended the events, established contact with the villagers, and provided information about the programme.
In the evening, at the Khairmundi Mahakaleshwar Temple, a grand inauguration ceremony of the Bhoga Mandap was conducted through a Deepa Maha Yajna in the presence of more than 300 devotees, followed by the distribution and consumption of prasad.
The programme was managed by Niranjan Panigrahi with support from Jyotiranjan Panigrahi, Yogeshwari Panigrahi, and all the villagers of Khairmundi. During the same period, a Deepa Yajna was also held at the Jagannath Temple in Pujariput near Jaunti Giri.
