Koraput: Nov 3 (UDN): A review meeting was held during the visit of the Additional Secretary of the Department of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Development, Minorities and Backward Classes Welfare to Kotpad Block in Koraput district to assess preparedness for the possible impact of Cyclone ‘Ardhav’.
During the meeting, the Additional Secretary reviewed the preparedness measures undertaken by the block administration to tackle the potential cyclone situation. Discussions focused on the arrangements made to address any eventuality, the precautionary measures required and the steps necessary to ensure the safety and security of people in vulnerable areas.
The meeting also reviewed the preparedness of the concerned departments and the necessary response measures to effectively manage any emergency arising from the possible cyclone.
