Kotpad, June 6:The Block Development Officer (BDO), Kotpad, closely monitored the implementation process of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) initiative launched by the Government of Odisha and the Election Commission of Odisha at various polling booths. The inspection was carried out to ensure smooth execution of the revision process and effective coordination at the grassroots level.
During the visit, the BDO reviewed the ongoing activities at the booth level and interacted with officials engaged in the revision work. Emphasis was laid on maintaining transparency, accuracy, and timely completion of the voter list verification process.
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive aims to strengthen the electoral system by ensuring updated and error-free electoral rolls. Officials were instructed to carry out the process efficiently while extending necessary support to the public.
