Nabarangpur, Aug 20 [UDN}:: A massive Tricolour bike rally was organised in Nabarangpur today as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan-2026’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ Programme-2026. The rally began at 7:30 AM from the District Collector’s Office, proceeded through Bypass Road to Mangal Timber Square, passed through various parts of Nabarangpur town, and finally returned to the District Collector’s Office.
More than 500 people participated in the rally, which reflected a strong spirit of patriotism and national pride. Participants carried the Tricolour flag in their hands while riding their motorcycles, creating a vibrant patriotic atmosphere across the city.
Nabarangpur MLA and District Planning Board Chairman Gouri Shankar Majhi, District Collector Dr. Maheswar Swain, Additional District Magistrate (General) Pramod Kumar Pusti, Additional District Magistrate (Revenue) Biswajit Barman, Municipal Chairperson Kunu Nayak, CDO-cum-Executive Officer of Zilla Parishad Biranchi Narayan Darwan, Sub-Collector Prakash Kumar Mishra, PA, ITDA Rajiv Sahu, DIPRO Manoj Behera, DCO Ghasia Harijan, along with District Collectorate employees, officials from various departments, security personnel, youth volunteers from different organisations, CRPF personnel, police officers, media representatives, patriotic citizens, young people and local residents participated in the rally.
The enthusiastic participation of hundreds of bikers and citizens turned the event into a grand success. The entire city witnessed an inspiring atmosphere of patriotism, unity and enthusiasm during the rally.
