Jharsuguda, Sept 5 [UDN}: A ‘Khelo India Dialogue’ programme was organised by Laxmi Narayan College (L.N. College), Jharsuguda, providing an inspiring platform to connect students and the youth with the vision of building a healthy, capable and empowered India.
An inspirational address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was broadcast during the programme. He encouraged the younger generation to embrace sports, physical fitness, discipline and the spirit of excellence.
The programme was held under the chairmanship of NSS District Coordinator Dr Laladhari Singh and coordinated by Tapan Sahu, Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at L.N. College.
National-level Kho-Kho player Deepti Ranjan Parida attended as a sports representative and motivated the students. My Bharat Portal District Yuva Officer Manas Bhoi and District Engineer Achyut Mishra were also present.
Speakers highlighted the importance of sports in the personality development and physical fitness of young people. Students were encouraged to actively participate in sports and develop discipline, perseverance and a spirit of healthy competition.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Himanshu Shekhar Mahakud.
