Strengthening Democratic Participation, Malkangiri Administration Conducts Special Intensive Revision–2026 Activities in Isolated Areas of 147-Chitrakonda Constituency

Malkangiri, June 16:  As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen the foundations of democracy, the Malkangiri district administration has reached the remote areas located across the reservoir to ensure the successful implementation of the “Special Intensive Revision–2026” (SIR 2026) program in the 147-Chitrakonda Assembly Constituency.

The Sub-Collector of Malkangiri and SVEEP Nodal Officer, the Tahasildar of Chitrakonda and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), along with the Assistant Collector (Election), visited several polling stations by traveling through the Balimela Reservoir by boat. They were accompanied by local Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to oversee and facilitate the electoral revision process in these inaccessible regions.

This initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to ensuring that every eligible citizen, even in the most remote areas, is included in the democratic process.
