TEX-AURA EXPO 2026 Inaugurated in Cuttack, Showcasing Surat’s Textile Excellence

Cuttack: TEX-AURA EXPO 2026 was inaugurated today in Cuttack, bringing the vibrant essence of Surat’s renowned textile industry to Odisha. The two-day exhibition is being held at Windsor Palace and has drawn significant interest from industry stakeholders, traders and fashion enthusiasts.

The event was formally inaugurated by the Mayor of Cuttack, Shri Subhash Singh, who highlighted the importance of such platforms in strengthening trade linkages and promoting India’s rich textile heritage.

A major highlight of the opening day was a grand fashion walk featuring collections from 15 leading garment manufacturers of Surat. The showcase blended contemporary fashion with traditional craftsmanship, reflecting the diversity and innovation of India’s textile sector.

The exclusive exhibition by participating manufacturers is also underway, offering visitors an opportunity to explore a wide array of fabrics, garments, and new design trends. The expo is facilitating direct interaction between manufacturers and buyers, aiming to create meaningful business collaborations in the eastern market.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aditya Sharma, CEO of Tex Aura, said, “We are delighted to bring TEX-AURA EXPO 2026 to Cuttack. This platform is designed to connect Surat’s dynamic textile industry with Odisha’s growing market, fostering partnerships and showcasing the finest innovations in fashion and apparel.”

The expo will continue on March 18, remaining open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and is expected to further strengthen trade engagement while celebrating the richness of Indian textiles.
