Kotpad ,Aug 25 [UDN}:A team of three weavers from Kotpad Block of Koraput district has secured third prize in the State-Level Weaver Hackathon. The award was presented by the Hon’ble Minister of Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts, Government of Odisha, in the presence of the department’s Secretary-Commissioner and other senior officials.
This achievement is a testament to the skill, creativity and dedication of the Kotpad weaving community. The recognition further strengthens the community’s role in preserving and promoting Odisha’s rich handloom heritage.
