Tribal Heritage Takes Centre Stage in Koraput as MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati Participates in International Tribal Day Programme

Koraput, Aug 12 [UDN}:A vibrant procession was organised in Koraput on the occasion of World Tribal Day (International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from tribal communities, youth, cultural groups and local residents, who took part in traditional dances, music and celebrations.
During the procession, Jeypore Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati joined the celebrations and was seen dancing alongside young tribal women. His participation added to the festive atmosphere as participants celebrated their rich tribal heritage, culture, traditions and identity.
The procession featured traditional performances and cultural expressions, highlighting the unique customs and traditions of the tribal communities of the Koraput region. The celebration also served as a platform to raise awareness about the rights, dignity, cultural heritage and social development of indigenous and tribal communities.
The presence of the Congress legislator and his participation in the traditional dance drew attention during the colourful World Tribal Day programme, which showcased the strong cultural identity and community spirit of the tribal population of Koraput.
