Tributes Paid to Mother Teresa in Jeypore on Her 116th Birth Anniversary, Honouring Her Commitment to the Poor and Needy

Jeypore, Sept 3 [UDN}: A special programme was organised in Jeypore to mark the 116th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to serving humanity. The event commemorated her humanitarian service and sacrifice for the sick, weak, helpless and homeless.

Held at the Town Mother Teresa premises in Jeypore, the programme focused on the message that “Service to humanity is service to God.” Discussions and tributes highlighted the importance of selfless service and compassion.

Former Koraput MLA Raghuram Padal and former MP Jhina Hikaka attended the programme as guests. The speakers recalled Mother Teresa’s dedication, compassion and sacrifice, particularly her service to patients, destitute people and other neglected sections of society.

The participants said that Mother Teresa’s life and ideals continue to inspire people to follow the path of humanitarian service and charity. The programme conveyed a strong message of humanity, service and social responsibility.

Vice-President Praveen Rajpatra, social worker Salman Khosla, Anil Nil Kumar Turuk, Amit Khosla, Jogendra Singh, David Dinabandhu, Asmailil Patra and several others were present. The programme was organised by the trust.
