Umarkote, March 13: The last date for filing nominations for the upcoming Lawyers’ Association election, scheduled to be held on March 28, was today.
On the final day, one lawyer filed nomination papers for each post in the Umarkote Lawyers’ Association election.
For the post of President: Arun Pattnaik
For Vice-President: Shankar De
For Secretary: Krishna Chandra Nanda
For Joint Secretary: Suman Samal
For Treasurer: Harihar Satapathy
Senior advocate Rabindra Pattnaik is serving as the Election Officer.
The scrutiny of nomination papers will be conducted tomorrow, informed Election Officer Rabindra Pattnaik.
