Kendrapara, Aug 24 [UDN}: Drinking water is being supplied to the affected areas through water tankers. Bottled drinking water is also being sent to villages affected by the floods. Polythene sheets are being distributed among families whose homes and livelihoods have been affected by the flooding.
Free cooked meals are being provided to affected residents to ensure that no family is deprived of food during the crisis. Cattle feed is also being distributed for livestock in the affected areas.
The district administration continues its efforts to ensure that relief materials, drinking water, food, livestock support and other essential assistance reach every flood-affected family at the earliest. The administration remains committed to providing continuous support and necessary services to people in the affected villages until the situation improves.
