The consultative session brought together intellectuals, public representatives, and civil society members to gather insights and recommendations for shaping Odisha’s long-term development strategy. The Vision Document aims to guide Odisha’s transformation into a prosperous, industrially advanced, and economically leading state by 2036—marking the state’s centenary—and 2047, which coincides with 100 years of India’s independence.
Chief Minister Majhi emphasized the importance of collective vision and inclusive planning in steering the state toward a future of sustainable growth, innovation, and equitable development. He also noted that wide-ranging consultations will continue to ensure the Vision Document reflects the aspirations of all sections of society.
